Charity fundraising

Voicebeat was started partly as a way of helping Glaswegians and "new Glaswegians" meet and sing together, and although fundraising is not the main purpose of the choir, we often raise money for charities connected with refugees and asylum seekers. These days we have a "partner charity" each year, and we typically raise hundreds of pounds via raffles, tombolas, occasional coin-rolling(!) and the exit donations at our (free) summer concert at the Kibble Palace.
